TRIBUTE TO ALDO: HOMAGE TO THE ICON OF ITALIAN HAIRSTYLING WORLDWIDE

On November 20, 2023, at the Teatro Arcimboldi in Milan, the thrilling event «Tribute to Aldo» took place—an unforgettable celebration of the eternal genius of the Maestro, marking the 10th anniversary of his passing.

The event revisited Aldo’s captivating narrative on the creative stage, a tale of style and elegance that still resonates in the hearts of those who knew him. At the start of the show, Aldo Coppola Jr, the Maestro’s son, shared his father’s greatest lesson: the importance of humility, an open heart, and determination to achieve great success.

The stage came alive with the extraordinary presence of artists such as Adalberto Vanoni, accompanied by the marvelous voice of Malika Ayane, alongside Mauro Situra and Roberto Farruggia, who presented works featuring women painted by the international bodypainting artist Raul. Additionally, Roberta Bellazzi accompanied by models adorned in the enchantment of Giorgio Armani’s dresses; Stefano Lorenzi’s hands danced through hair on the notes of pianist and composer Piergiorgio Ratti. Monica Coppola, joined by Fabrizio Ferri, shared memories, emotions, and teachings.

The show concluded with an epic finale: 75 children from the Choir of White Voices of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, dressed in shirts depicting Aldo’s face, moved the audience with a magical rendition of «Nessun Dorma». «Tribute to Aldo» was an extraordinary opportunity to celebrate the eternal beauty, innovation, and passion embodied by Aldo Coppola.
