On-field technique has to be as sharp as a razor. For many players – like Mario Balotelli of Manchester City –having a certain style is just as important off the field as on it, and that style starts with a haircut that definitely makes a statement.
Within the innovative digital campaign “My Time Is Now”, Nike presented the extra content of the Nike Barbershop*, which will be created at Space23, the brand new store for sports lovers that is owned by Marco Materazzi and Stefano Mancinelli and will be inaugurated on Tuesday, June 5, at Corso Garibaldi 104 in Milan.
After the inaugural event on June 5 at 6:00 p.m. – with the exclusive presence of Marco Materazzi, Stefano Mancinelli and the finalists of the Milan leg of “The Chance”, who will have their hair cut and styled for the occasion by Mauro Situra of Aldo Coppola – the Barbershop will remain open until June 20, from Tuesday to Friday, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
It’s easy to enjoy the Barbershop experience and get a haircut by Aldo Coppola, a partner in this special project: just play with the “My Time Is Now” spot and the Barbershop app on Facebook, choose your look, and post it on the Facebook page (www.facebook.com/spaceventitre) or tweet it to the Twitter (@space23) account of the brand new Space23 store.
In the coming weeks, five Nike Barbershops will open worldwide: besides Milan, also in Buenos Aires, Madrid, Mexico City, and Paris, where men can get haircuts inspired by their favorite sports stars. A temporary Nike Barbershop will also be opened in Warsaw, Poland, during the period of the European Football Championships this summer.
